Scribe Dialogue Impact Report

Purpose: To help scribes document what is said and shared during dialogues. This ensures that participant voices inform future programming, policy recommendations, reports, and follow-up actions.

Scribe Roll:

As a scribe, you are responsible for objectively recording what participants say during the dialogue. You are not a facilitator — your job is to capture key ideas, themes, and emotional tones in real time.

What to Capture:

  • Summarized participant responses (use quotes when possible)
  • Emerging themes and trends
  • Emotional tone or body language cues (if relevant)
  • Points of agreement or tension
  • Group dynamics (who’s talking, who isn’t, how engagement is happening)
  • Participant-generated recommendations or ideas
